Life and times of an average college student?
Finally i got myself some time to go online! Though, nobody really reads my blog, just update la XDXD
Currently in Brussels and in my hotel called 2GO4 Hostel. Very nice place for student travellers. Hahaha. Gonna go paris in 4 hours. XDXD
Anyway went Amsterdam be4 brussels. It’s marvellous there, though I dun smoke the WEED and eat the Magic Mushrooms. Seeing ppl doing it is fun. XDXD

So heya all!
It’s been a million years since I updated this place. I feel bad because till now I did not put anything on STYLO KL fashion festival yet though I had Promised it earlier. So as mentioned I’m updating for the sake of updating, I’m jus gonna tell you bits of my daily college life so far.
So my new semester started. I’m in my 5th sem or 2nd year, 2nd semester. Whichever is fine =.= Life’s been preetty much boring. Jus started for three weeks and assignments not due YET. So I still have a bit of time to spare .
By the way, I’m taking 6 subjects this semester which is a lot for an INTI Student because for degree courses and AUP program students, they usually take 3 to 5 subjects. For diploma which is what I’m taking now, usually it’s 4 to 5 subjects. But here am I, stupid enough to take 6 subjects. i dunno bout other colleges, but 6 subjects in INTI is alot!
Did this because i don’t really want to take the extra subject with the juniors. Coz if I take it with them, they usually don’t do much in a group project and I somehow ended up doing most. Well…… Actually I’m always the one who somehow volunteered because I just CAN”T HELP SEEING THEM DOING IT SO BADLY and the point is they still think they do a marvellous job. Mind you, but it’s a group assignment and my marks is at stake. So yeah….. I’m dumb. Hahaha.
My friend Elaine always nag me about being to nice and helping them out. imagine this, I helped the juniors finished half of their final project in a class that I’m not in just because they asked and I feel bad for not helping. So everyone out there, you know what to do if you need help. hahaha.
I mean In a sense, I like helping because I feel rewarded after helping someone and they show gratitude back to me.
So next week on Wednesday 11/6/2008 I’m having a mock press conference as an assignment for Advanced PR. I’m doing a case about the CEO, Bart Bass from my company, GG International Corp being accused of fraud of 10 million USD. I’m the Chairperson’s secretary. Oh, and this is a Gossip Girl inspired case. Hahahaha XD
And for creative commmunication production, I’m already starting my final project. I need to re-brand a company and sell one of the products. Including creating 6 logo designs, CIDs, Event Proposal, Posters, Radio Ad and so on. For those who don’t know, CID means company identity or something similar which is things like namecard, envelope and letterheads of the company.
And I think I’m using MAcintosh/ Apple Inc. SO i currently straining my brain out to think.
I need SERIOUS help in logo designs. ARGH!!!!
Then I have web development class where I need to create a website for something that you like. Cars, gaming, lifestyle and so on. So me and my team are doing Lifestyle. Haha.
And another project for PR is a campaign. i’m doing something related to Abuse/Human Rights. Mostly related to violence against child, women and even MEN, peer pressure and psychological abuse.
What else? Hmm…….
Oh I’m gonna step down from INTIMA, my college studewnt government body from July onwards a.k.a RETIRING /(TwT)
Sad. I love my EXCOs. But glad in a way because I can focus on my assignments more.
So guess that’s all. And i notice as my entry goes. It become shorter and shorter for each thing said. This indicates that my brain cells are dying and I can’t Write. Hahaha.
Finally I get myself yet another blog. Haha. Actually I’ve have had blogs before but nothing went further then the design of the blogspot but now I have inspiration to start which is of course my friends from KAMCAO, my anime/manga produciton company and also the STYLO KL Fashion Festival.
Seriously! All those photos I took at the event drives me to this. So here I am. But i will post the event mush later after I choose, filter and edit the photos. Haahaa.
Anyway since I’m new and fresh here (plus trying to figure out the whole blog thing =.=) I’m gonna do a introduciton to yours truly, ME. Might be long winded but who knows?
So… Here goes!
First and for most my full name is Calvin Chong Kai Mun and my english name, Calvin is self-given. Got it when I was in std 4, aroung 10yrs old? I guess. Born in 20th October 1989. Remember that, ppl! I expect gifts! XDXD For my age, think would be 19 if I’m not mistaken. Don’t mind me but I like counting by years and not actual dates. So don’t correct me or whatsoever. Oh by the way, my nick to some is moonmoon-kun. Explain later.
Next would be my family. I have parents, of course. A dad and mom. Names will not be disclosed. I have a sister (The eldest) in her 22. She’s doing Law in Uni of Reading, Berkshire, UK. A brother(The second) in his 20. Doing actuarial science in Uni of Nebraska Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. So I’m the third and last of my parents and in my family.
Love my parents. Love my sister. That’s all.
Huh? My brother. A menace. Never stop fighting with him since as long as I remember> We just have to find something to argue or kill ourselves onto. But then… he’s still cool sometimes. When I say sometimes, it is only some TIMES!
I’m originally form Kampar, Perak. That’s in Malaysia incase you’re not local. After 18 years, here I am in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
Academics? You wouldn’t wanna know but still I’ll tell.
Studied in SK Methodist ACS Kampar in primary. In top 10 to 15s in my school ranking. Not bad, right?
Then secondary school came about, still not bad in the frist 2 years plus. When I went upper secondary (form 4 and 5) my grades sink like a submarine. Seriously! Got too lazy. Haha.
Then came college and was the most wonderful time in my education years. Knows lots of new people. Finally decided to study well. Joined more activities. Not that much of a stage-frighten freak. Joined KAMCAO. Rediscover my art interest….etc So i love life now. Indulging it!
So, KAMCAO is an anime/manga production company I join through my friend, Dan. From him I know more friend out of college and out of school. I met saku, ryu, kai, joshua, saku’s mom (Who’s totally nice and fun!) and more. Am just glad I know them. So eher , Ryu (one of the co-founders) named me as “Munmun-kun” coz of my last name Mun. But i didn’t know the spelling but liked it nonetheless. So i made an acc in deviantart.com calling myself “moonmoon-kun”. So htis is how it existed and now I’m known to them as that and I plan to be known as that in this industry. I even made a logo for myself which I would put it in my display image later. XD
Then to the hobbies section as well as interests, likes and dislikes…..
Like drawing anime/manga stuff
Reading novels, most likely in fantasy and magic genre. Just love it. So unreal. Still daydreams on it all the time.
Shopping. Tribute to my mom and sis. I adore shopping unlike other guys i know.
Movies/Dramas/Reality Shows/ Music….. LOVE IT TO THE MAX!
Food? Love chocolate, cheese cake, fried stuff like fried prawn, cuttlefish, chicken, tofu….. ABSOLUTELY DISLIKE VEGEs, not hate coz a lot told me hate is a very strong word. XD I still eat it in certain occasions.
Anyway now that I’m telling you. I like stuff that girls would rather do more. I read novels, addicted to movie/drama etc., and shopping. And iI mix with girls more than guys. I don’t get the idea of football or basketball. I have no idea about cars and modifications. I know how girls think and act (that’s what most said)
So god! That’s bad? Is it? Really?
Well I don’t care. I like what I like. Haha.
